Small broad headed tree that can grow to 7m x 7m in time. Clusters of white flowers open from pink buds in spring and are followed by masses of cherry red crab apples that stay on the tree until well after Christmas. When it gets very cold Blackbirds and fieldfares strip the tree of fruit in a matter of days. Debatably the best crab apple of all!
