Mountain pepper bush from South East Australia has lanceolate dark green leaves held by bright red stems that are aromatic when crushed. Clusters of slightly fragrant pretty white flowers in spring. Evergreen shrub to around 2m x 1m. Needs a warm spot in sun in moist, fertile but free draining soil.
