Amelanchier lamarckii (6lt)

Snowy mespilus. Dense, erect, suckering shrub with mid-green leaves. Racemes of white flowers followed by blue-black fruit. Height and spread when mature to around 6m x 5m. Flowers April to May. Fruits June to August. Best in fertile, well drained soil in sun or part shade. Hardy. Water thoroughly before planting. Superb autumn colour which is at it's best on neutral to acid soil.
