Veronica prostrata Trehane (9cm)

A useful and attractive ground cover. Forms low growing mats of chartereuse yellow foliage that contrast well with the short spires of bright blue flowers with darker veining. Flowers from late spring through to midsummer. Particularly good at the base of darker leafed subjects such as Cordyline burgundy or Pittosporum Tom Thumb. Height and spread to around 20cm x 30cm. Any fertile, well drained soil in sun or light shade.
