Pink blossom is produced in spring followed by velvety green fruits, containing almonds from August-September. A beautiful tree suited to small gardens grafted onto rootstock St. Julian giving an unpruned height and spread to around 5m x 4m. Any fertile and well drained soil in sun or very light shade. Ingrid is the most reliable cropping of UK varieties.
