Chenopodium Giganteum (9cm)

Tree spinach. This is a fabulous herb where the young leaves can be used in salads or leaves can be cooked as spinach. New shoots are a vibrant magenta purple. Tall growing hardy annual that can rach 2.4 and has small red flowers in summer followed by silvery seedheads. Seeds freely. New leaves are covered in a crystaline powder that looks just like glitter!
