An upright shrub with plume-like branches, spreading horizontally, clothed with needle-like deep green leaves, tubular, lavender-mauve flowers. Height and spread upto 2m x 2.5m in ideal conditions. Needs a well drained sheltered position in full or part sun. Shelter from strong winds. Hardy to around -10c.
