Fagus sylvatica Dawyck Purple (10lt)

Overview

Purple leaved fastigiate beech. Rich purple leaves cloak this columnar tree. Grows into a majestic, upright tree to around 15m high by 3m wide. The mature leaves turn a reddish rusty brown in the Autumn. Any fertile soil except really heavy clay. Makes a superb specimen for a large garden.
