Quassia. A rare, easily grown ornamental tree with a height and spread to around 5m x 3m. Large pinnate green foliage turns fiery orangey red in autumn. Clusters of small yellow/green flowers in late spring are followed by red berries that mature to a metallic slate-turquoise. Fertile, loamy soil in sun or part shade is best. Shelter from cold winter winds.
