Overview

A select form of the black iris with dramatic, almost black flowers that appear in June-July above narrow sword shaped green leaves. This clump-forming, beardless iris, related to the moisture-loving Siberian iris, makes an eye catching feature in a sunny, boggy area of the garden, or beside water. Height 75cm, spread 30cm.
