Rhamnus frangula (5lt)

Overview

Alder Buckthorn. Rounded green leaves, yellow flowers in early summer followed by red fruits that ripen to black. Grows to a rounded bush or small tree to around 4m x 4m. Beloved by bees and birds. Good for the wildlife garden and especially good to mix with a native hedging scheme.
