Betula nigra Black Star (12lt)

Overview

Large soft green diamond shaped leaves with a broadly pyramidal habit. A select form of river birch with a 20 year height and spread to around 8-10m x 4-6m. The best feature of this birch is it's flaky, peeling brown bark and its ability to grow almost anywhere especially in moist soils.
