Overview

One of the best small trees for winter interest with it's shining mahogany brown bark. Bark naturally 'peels' like a birch to reveal fresh shiny bark beneath. Height and spread to around 8m. Narrow, dark green leaves cast a dappled shade. Small white flowers in spring. Any well drained soil in sun or light shade.
