Overview
Alpine violet. Wonderful for naturalising under trees and in shade. Masses of pink flowers appear from late summer until Christmas. Leaves (often marbled) appear midway through the flowering season and remain until spring. They then disappear leaving only the springy seed heads above ground. Easy to grow.
