Corylus colurna (70lt)
The largest of all the hazels 'colurna' has an upright pyramid habit reaching a height and spread of 15m+ x 6m+ when mature. Attractive yellow catkins in spring followed by small nuts in large cups in late summer. Striking grey corky bark looks good all year round. Very hardy and tolerant of most soils and positions. An excellent choice for avenues or street plantings.
